Andre Roberson joins Madonna, Usher and Britney Spears on the worst celebrity tippers line-up
This NBA star needs to work on his tipping game.
Just hours after Andre Roberson signed a $30 million contract to continue playing with Oklahoma City Thunder last Wednesday, TMZ reported he left just $13.97 on a $487.13 tab in Austin’s Chupacabra Cantina. That’s less than 3% gratuity; a fraction of the generally accepted 15% to 20%.
Roberson, 25, tried rebounding on Twitter by replying that he only “a bottle at the bar” and “there was no service,” but fans and wait staff weren’t amused. (Plus, while he was clearly trying to tip just enough to make an even $500 bill, he missed the math – his calculation should add up to $501.10.)
Shouldn't have had to tip you it was just a bottle at a bar …there was no service ..now I can see if it was a club! You Reaching bro

In fact, his own teammates started firing shots at his stingy tip.
We just out here tipping more than $13

At least he left something; some A-listers completely stiff the staff. Here’s five of the worst celebrity tippers.
MADONNA. The “Material Girl” is rumored to be a serial bad tipper, like the time she dropped $18 on a $400 bill in a West London restaurant while she was still married to Guy Ritchie, or when she left zilch after dining at NYC hotspot Babbo with a friend.
BRITNEY SPEARS. The “Gimme More” singer and her entourage infamously ate $251 worth of grub from One Sunset in Hollywood, and then drove off without tipping a dime, E! Online reported. The restaurant is now closed. Worse, she is also rumored to have once thrown a handful of change at a parking valet, telling him, “There’s your tip.”
JEREMY PIVEN. After the “Entourage” star showed up unannounced to Nobu Matsuhisa’s Aspen restaurant with a party of 12 in 2007, he reportedly just left the waiter a copy of the season 1 DVD of “Entourage” as a tip, and told the manager “Thanks for nothing” on the way out. An unidentified staffer allegedly chucked the DVD at Piven’s head as he left.
USHER. Here’s another artist confusing merch with money. The “OMG” artist is notorious for leaving his autograph in lieu of a tip.
KIRSTEN DUNST. Maybe the “Spiderman” star just keeps forgetting to tip. An assistant manager at an anonymous NYC restaurant told Fox News that Dunst ordered a $233 meal and left “without even the smallest gratuity.” She was also rumored to leave nothing after a West Hollywood manager comped her meal.
