The “Life of Kylie” star and Kardashian clan member has built up a lucrative side gig selling property in celeb-friendly neighborhoods
Kylie Jenner may have just made $1 million from thin air.
Kim Kardashian’s half-sister has just sold a property in Hidden Hills, a Los Angeles gated community. The 21-year-old purchased the four bedroom, 5,147 square foot home barely a year ago for $4.5 million and was reportedly planning to use it as an office for Kylie Cosmetics, her quickly growing beauty business. But she quickly listed the house, which sits on 3.3 acres of land, for sale with an asking price of $5.4 million. Women’s Wear Daily now reports that a buyer has placed funds in escrow.
The new owner will find an adobe in a celeb-friendly neighborhood that’s much more suited for living than working. The single-story property is decked out with a cinema screening room, high ceilings and French doors. It also has a walk-in wardrobe that Trulia calls “larger than most 19-year-old’s first apartments.” Outside, there’s a large pool, spa and even a small vineyard.
Even after the sale closes, those in possession of the key still be able to rub shoulders with Jenner and her famous family: the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star owns a $6 million house right next door and an even larger property nearby. Additionally, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have a pad in the vicinity, as do Jennifer Lopez and Miley Cyrus.
The budding property magnate will be flush with funds, especially after she also just sold her LA starter home for $3 million. But real estate is merely a nice side gig for Jenner, the daughter of Caitlyn Jenner (née Bruce) and Kris Jenner who is quickly becoming the most prolific member of the reality television clan.
Kylie Cosmetics has reportedly done $420 million in sales despite launching under two years ago and is said to be on track to do $1 billion in business soon. The youngest Jenner also recently got signed for “Life of Kylie,” a dedicated reality TV program of her own, and is by some measures the 10th most valuable influencer on social media.
