It’s tea time, compliments of Starbucks.

For one hour only, the coffee giant is hosting its Free Tea Friday promotion July 14 from 1 to 2 p.m. for customers to snag a Tall, 12-ounce iced tea at locations nationwide.

Customers will be able to try the java chain’s new Teavana iced tea line. Flavors include pineapple black tea, peach citrus white tea, and strawberry green tea in an effort to infuse green, white or black teas with flavorful fruit and botanical flavors.

The new shaken iced tea infusions are made without artificial flavors and sweeteners and are only 45 calories for a Grande-sized beverage (16-ounces). After the one hour freebie, you can expect to pay around $3.45 for a  Tall, $3.95 for Grande and $4.45 Venti.

“Freshly steeped botanicals have subtle flavors that don’t overpower the pure and simple notes of tea, which then have a chance to shine through,” said  Starbucks developer Megan Droz in a statement.

It’s tea-rrific timing. According to the Tea Association, nearly 84 billion servings of tea were consumed by Americans last year and approximately 80% was iced tea.

In 2012, Starbucks acquired Teavana in a deal with an estimated value of $620 million.

“We’ve built a more than $1 billion business in Teavana within Starbucks and we expect it to more than double in size in the next five years,” a Starbucks spokesperson told Moneyish in a statement.

“The growth rate of Teavana within Starbucks has outpaced all other beverages growing at 1.5 times the rate.”

That last big Teavana promotion at Starbucks was in 2014 when the brand teamed up with media mogul Oprah Winfrey to sell her namesake Oprah Chai Tea. All proceeds from the limited-time sales went to charities that help youth and education.
