Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi, Pauly D, Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino and the rest of the ‘Jersey Shore’ cast talk buns, boobs and babies in a promo for Burger King’s new Chicken Parm sandwich.
Gym, tan, laundry — chicken parm family dinner.
The cast of MTV’s most buzzed about reality show “Jersey Shore” reunited back in their old New Jersey stomping grounds eight years after the series premiered to taste Burger King’s new chicken parm sandwich, out Thursday.
Reality stars Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Pauly D, Jenni “JWowww” Farley, Deena Cortese, Vinny Guadagnino and Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola met at a Burger King in Ocean County, NJ to catch up about buns, boobs and babies.
“I’m really not nervous about seeing everyone, I’m actually really excited,” Sorrentino said in a promotional video for the brand.
After everyone arrived – Snooki jokingly mistook BK for Brooklyn, not Burger King, but eventually got there in time – they sat down to a “family style” meal, which naturally panned out like the old reality show.
“It’s like Sunday dinner all over again,” said Farley. “No fights allowed at the table!”
“This is what it takes to get us together, chicken parm.” Sorrentino chimed in.
After a few “salutes,” the gang went around the table to talk about life since their fist-pumping, GTL-filled shore days.
“How’s everyone’s new boobs?” Guadagnino candidly broke the ice, looking at former flame Polizzi, who proudly admitted she got some work done.
Everyone is, sort of, grown up. Cortese is getting married, Pauly D is still a DJ, Guadagnino joked that Snooki’s two kids were his, and Sorrentino said he’s trying to have a mini Situation of his own (Pauly D has already offered to give him or her hair-styling tips).
“Parenting is kind of like me hungover all the time. I don’t’ want to wake up. I’m tired. I’m always screaming,” Polizzi, now married and a mom of two, joked.
“I can’t believe your daughter’s taller than you!” Pauly D quipped.
The crew agreed that the “sangwiches” were “actually good,” with Guadagnino favoring the red sauce.
Burger King’s Chicken Parmesan Sandwich ($4.99) is available for a limited time. It’s made with 100% white meat chicken, melted mozzarella, shaved parmesan and marinara sauce.
