Framed Tweets gives posts from Donald Trump, Kanye West and Jaden Smith the royal treatment.
Snark has become a work of art.
Ever read a tweet so great or so biting that you wished you could post it on a real-life wall? Well, now there’s a framing service to give these 140-character gems the treatment they deserve.
Framed Tweets will mount your favorite missives from celebrities and politicians in “exquisite gold frames” for $49 a pop, according to the website.
“People love tweets. They also love framing stuff. So we decided to put the two together,” the site explained. The geniuses behind the royal reprints have yet to respond to requests for comment.
You can search for the perfect post to display over your couch in categories including humor, brand fails, inspirational, and of course, trending tweets from celebrities and politicians like President Donald Trump, who really counts as both. His October 2012 tweet, “The Coca Cola company is not happy with me — that’s okay, I’ll still keep drinking that garbage” speaks to Republicans and Democrats alike.
And insane tweeters Kanye West and Jaden Smith have earned their own categories, where you can relive their most infamous rants – like West pleading, “Please: Do everything you possibly can in one lifetime,” or Smith musing, “How Can Mirrors Be Real If Our Eyes Aren’t Real.”
You can also create your own custom Framed Tweet tagging a post from a friend, relative or your own feed for $49. The only catch is that you can’t reprint videos and GIFs, but there’s still plenty of online material to choose from – like that Ellen DeGeneres 2014 Oscars selfie with Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence and Brad Pitt.
Of course, you can also pick up a cheap gold-painted frame like this $5 number from Ikea, or a set of five gold frames in various sizes from Michael’s for $49.99, and print your favorite tweets out yourself on photo stock paper.
