The pad is located in Hollywood Hills and looks over Sunset Strip
Rihanna has new digs in which to put her California King Bed.
The “Umbrella” pop star has just purchased a new Los Angeles home for $6.8 million, according to E!. The 7,100 square foot home is located in Hollywood Hills, which overlooks classic LA icons like Sunset Strip. Per the website, Rihanna also owns a seven bedroom pad in the Pacific Palisades that was acquired for $12 million five years ago.
Despite the lower price, her new gated abode is equally drool-worthy: the three-story, single family-style home has six bedrooms and a whopping 10 bathrooms. It comes with luxury finishings like high ceilings, arched doorways and steel-framed doors, as well as Hollywood-friendly flourishes like a movie screening room and a fitness center. There is also one fireplace in the living room and another in the master bedroom, which is large enough that it apparently is equipped with another fireplace and a spa-like bath.
Situated at 7801 Hillside Avenue, the home is more than fit for entertaining Rihanna’s entire squad. The open-air main kitchen is decked out with stainless steel appliances like a fridge and dishwasher, double sinks and a marble-topped kitchen island. For those lucky enough to score an overnight invite—ahem collaborators Shakira, Ariana Grande and Alessandro Ambrosio—the guesthouse also comes with its own fitness room.
The rest of the property, which spans almost a half-acre, is no less stunning. There’s a heated infinity pool for those rare days when it gets drafty in LA, a grassy yard and an uncovered garage for two cars. Rihanna is known as a motor head of sorts, so there’s also an additional eight parking lots on the estate.
The listing was held by LA real estate brokers The Agency.
