Half of U.S. workers say they aren’t satisfied with their jobs, according to data released last year from the Conference Board, which measures this annually. That’s way up from 1987, when the research firm began measuring this, and fewer than four in 10 said they weren’t satisfied with their jobs.

Part of this may come down to bad bosses, since half of employees admit to having left a job “to get away from a manager.” Other reasons include that employees don’t see a way to get promoted or they get offered a better job with higher pay.

It could also come down to company culture, as workers at some companies tend to like their jobs more than at others, according to data released Thursday be career site Glassdoor. The jobs review site looked at people’s recommendations for hundreds of thousands of companies to determine which employees said they were most likely to recommend to their friends.

Here are 15 companies that more than eight in 10 employees, on average, would recommend that their friends work for.
